The Relationship Between Concerns About Breast Health and Breast Cancer Prevention Attitudes among Pharmacy Student at Muhammadiyah University of Pekajangan Pekalongan

Background: Breast cancer is one of the most common non-communicable diseases with increasing incidence. Anxiety related to breast health may influence attitudes toward breast cancer prevention.
Objective: To analyze the relationship between breast health anxiety and breast cancer prevention attitudes among female students.
Methods: This study used a quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 162 female students from the Pharmacy Undergraduate Program using total sampling. Data were collected using validated questionnaires distributed via Google Forms. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test.
Result: A total of 75 respondents (46.3%) experienced anxiety, and 87 respondents (53.7%) showed negative attitudes toward breast cancer prevention. The statistical test showed a p-value of 0.003 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between breast health anxiety and prevention attitudes.
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between breast health anxiety and attitudes toward breast cancer prevention among female students.
