Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Jurnal Medika memuat naskah dibidan Kesehatan yang meliputi :

  • File naskah dalam format file dokumen OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, atau WordPerfect.
  • Ketika tersedia, URLs untuk referensi telah disediakan.
  • Naskah diketik dengan margin atas 3; bawah 3; kanan 3; dan kiri 3; jarak spasi 1,5, huruf "Time New Roman" 12,
  • Teks yang mematuhi persyaratan mengenai perpustakaan dan gaya bahasa digambarkan secara garis besar di Petunjuk Penulis, yang akan ditemukan dalam halaman Tentang Kami.
  • Jika penerimaan untuk bagian peer-review dari jurnal, instruksinya terdapat di Memastikan Reviewer Anonim telah diikuti.

Author Guidelines

  1. Pena Medika is a national journal that contains the results of research on public health science and practice. Aimed at all practitioners and researchers in the field of public health to improve the degree of Public Health.
  2. Manuscripts of research results include: Title, author's name, abstract, introduction, method, results, discussion, conclusions and suggestions. Script component:
  3. The title is written with a maximum of 15 words.
  4. Identity of the researcher along with the correspondence email address
  5. Abstracts are written in English with keywords, in 1 (one) paragraph with a maximum number of 250 words, font 10 Times new romance.
  6. Introduction without subtitles, contains background problems, a little literature review and problems and research objectives
  7. The method used is explained in detail, special research methods must include references. Describe the research design or design used, research objectives (population, samples, data sources), data collection techniques and instruments that describe data analysis techniques or procedures.
  8. Discussion: interpreting the results correctly, associating argumentatively the research findings with relevant theories, using logical, systematic and data-based dialogue languages.
  9. Tables are typed in 1 space with numbers that correspond to the sequence in the text. The maximum number of 6 tables with a short title. All nonstandard abbreviations are explained in footnotes.
  10. Lack of Research
  11. Conclusions and suggestions to answer research problems, made based on research results, do not exceed the capacity of research findings, statements must be firm and do not contain numbers. Suggestions submitted logically, in accordance with research findings.
  12. for recommendations written in paragraphs where these recommendations answer the problems described .
  13. The literature is written according to Harvard's writing rules, and is quoted in text such as names and years in parentheses and is listed at the end of the writing in the alphabetical way. The author's name which has a maximum of 6 people remaining, followed by et.al. Journal references use the latest sources both books and journals and use reference managers (such as Mendeley, EndNote, Zootero).

  1. Manuscripts are typed with margins top 3; under 3; right 3; and left 3 with a spacing of 1.5 letters Times New Roman 12.
  2. The submitted text must be in the form of a word document
