Peer Review Process
Every manuscript submitted to the Abdimas Pantura Lestari Journal will undergo a peer review process to ensure its scientific quality, relevance, and contribution to the development of community service in the fields of agriculture and the agricultural environment.
1. Submission
Authors can submit original manuscripts resulting from community service in the fields of agriculture and the environment that have not been previously published through the OJS Abdimas Pantura Lestari Journal.
2. Initial Screening
Manuscripts are first screened by the Editor to ensure their suitability with the focus and scope of the journal, completeness of article elements, compliance with writing guidelines, and similarity checks. Manuscripts that do not meet the initial requirements may be rejected or returned to the author for revision before the review process.
3. Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that pass the initial selection will be sent to two reviewers who are experts in the field of the manuscript. The Abdimas Pantura Lestari journal implements a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of the authors and reviewers are kept confidential to maintain the objectivity and independence of the assessment.
4. Reviewer Assessment
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on the uniqueness of the community service program, relevance to the field of agriculture, clarity of implementation methods, impact and benefits to the community, quality of analysis, and clarity of presentation and conclusions. Reviewers provide recommendations in the form of: accepted without revision, accepted with minor revisions, accepted with major revisions, or rejected.
5. Revisions by Authors
Authors are required to follow up on all comments and suggestions from reviewers within a specified time limit. Revised manuscripts will be re-evaluated by the editor and/or reviewers until they meet the journal's standards.
6. Final Decision
The final decision on the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the results of the review and the reviewers' recommendations. Accepted manuscripts will undergo a final editing process (copyediting) before publication.
The peer review process aims to maintain the quality and integrity of scientific publications. This process provides a quality control mechanism, helps identify and correct errors or weaknesses in research, and ensures that published articles make a meaningful contribution to the field of science. In addition, the anonymity of the peer review process allows for unbiased evaluation and encourages constructive criticism.
It should be noted that the peer review process is not perfect and does not guarantee the absolute accuracy or significance of published articles. However, this process is an important step in maintaining the integrity and scientific reputation of the Jurnal Abdimas Pantura Lestari.
