This article examines corrective justice in the administrative review of the appointment process for members of the Papuan People’s Representative Council through the Special Autonomy mechanism. The study focuses on Decision Number 12/G/2025/PTUN.JPR, registered at the Jayapura Administrative Court, concerning a dispute over the announcement and work of the Provincial Selection Committee. The central issue is whether a selection committee announcement may be treated as an administrative decision or action that produces legal consequences and can therefore be reviewed by the Administrative Court. This research uses normative legal research with statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. The study argues that political affirmation for Indigenous Papuans represents distributive justice, while judicial review by PTUN Jayapura represents corrective justice when the selection process allegedly violates legality, transparency, impartiality, and good governance principles. The article concludes that PTUN Jayapura does not replace the technical discretion of the selection committee but ensures that administrative authority is exercised lawfully, fairly, transparently, and accountably. Corrective justice in this context restores legal order, protects participants’ rights, and strengthens the legitimacy of affirmative representation under Papua’s Special Autonomy framework
